Corporate Governance & King IV

September 1, 2025 @ 9:00 am - September 5, 2025 @ 2:00 pm UTC+2
Complete guide to Corporate Governance

Course Overview

Executive Program for board members, directors and senior management for the implementation for the best practice in corporate management and best principles of corporate governance, legislations and regulations.

Leadership in organisations has overriding duty to stakeholders and the general public to ensure that a spirit of good
governance is inculcated in all levels of management. As the public/private sector character and attributes continue to
evolve globally, the notions of accountability, sustainability, transparency and corporate citizenship are identified as
the pivot around which public management and good governance revolve.
Notably, there are a range of models, frameworks, and methodologies available to both private and public organisations
to help address enterprise risk management and compliance with legislative requirements. Despite the abundance of
information at hand, there is still confusion amongst many professionals as to which model is best suited for their
organisation or particular industry and which is not.
This workshop aims to empower the participants with an accurate summary of the major international standards and
frameworks and expands on aspects of critical legislative compliance that impact an organisation’s methodologies to
achieve comprehensive governance and risk management.
Furthermore, this training will provide insight into the King IV Report on Corporate Governance by introducing various
amendments and enhancements to its predecessor, the King Ill Report resulting in enhanced corporate governance
through, inter alia, the increased involvement of stakeholders, the requirements for the independence of directors,
increased disclosures of information by companies and the alignment of the management of group companies.
