Ethics, Integrity and Relationship management

GENERAL OVERVIEW

In this Ethics, Integrity and Relationship Management programme participants will learn and have a broader perspective about different approaches to ethics, the values and standards in a typical code of conduct,
and how to develop your own code. You will also learn ways to overcome obstacles to
ethical behavior and steps for making ethical decisions.
Every organization expects employees to act with ethics, integrity, and trust.
Employees have to build own reputation as honest and trustworthy colleagues and
organisation represantatives.
It’s not always easy to decide between right and wrong at work. Making ethical
decisions can help you to discern the right thing to do in difficult situations. You
might think that business ethics are only an issue for upper management, but in
fact, every employee should understand the importance of ethical decision making.
It is a pre-requesite to establish correct and sincere work ethics and relationships.
Communicating with diplomacy and tact allows you to be more persuasive and
build stronger relationships.

PROGRAMME OBJECTIVES

The main objective of this Ethics, Integrity and Relationship Management course is to
empower the employees of public sector/ parastatals/ authorities with structured
response to an articulated need for the inculcation and practice of ethical conduct,
behaviours and practices that are demonstrably consistent with, supportive of and
aligned to the values of professional organisations. There is an articulated need for
employees to conduct themselves with demonstrable integrity in all their interactions
among themselves, with other employees and external stakeholder formations at all
times.
This programme will serve as a platform from which professional practice can be
enriched and enhanced through the development, up-skilling and multi-skilling of
professional practices into better rounded and socially competent assets in their
domains of practice
